We were asked by a local university program to design a faculty and student housing facility with old Nantucket architectural influences.

We conducted contextual studies of the immediate surrounding architecture and property histories to better immerse ourselves in the time period. The house was to replicate gradual addition over time from the original house plan located on Coffin Street towards the rear of the property. Attending students would have living quarters located on in the front of the property and Faculty would be housed in the rear, more private interior side of the property. The Student housing would have 13 bedrooms along with 6 shared bathrooms and typical common areas and the Faculty cottage would have 2 master suites, and common area.
